SUMMARY:Municipal Election Day
DESCRIPTION:Today is the day. Ottawa’s municipal election decides who sits in the mayor’s chair and around the Council table for the next four years — and every one of those decisions shapes life on your mainstreet. \nPolls are open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Bring one piece of ID with your name and current address (see ottawa.ca/vote for the full list of accepted ID). \nWhat Vanier merchants need to know\n\n🗳️ Find your polling location: ottawa.ca/vote\n✅ Confirm you’re on the voters’ list: ottawa.ca voters’ list\n🧭 Non-partisan resources for members: Vanier BIA Merchant Hub – Election 2026\n📖 See where candidates stand on mainstreet issues: OCOBIA Municipal Election Hub\n\nA reminder on our role\nAs a local board of Council\, the Vanier BIA is non-partisan. We don’t endorse or oppose candidates. Our job is to help you ask better questions\, connect you with credible resources\, and make sure our mainstreet’s voice is at the table — regardless of who wins. \nYour vote is your voice on your mainstreet’s future. Make it count.
