Kristine St-Pierre is an award-nominated bilingual folk singer-songwriter with soul-searching ballads and a rollicking bluesy flair. Described as a “chansonnière” with a traveling heart, Kristine has played to audiences across Canada and around the world. Her voice combined with her beautifully crafted songs are increasingly gaining her attention across Canada. The Ottawa-based artist has released a bilingual EP in 2010, followed by the bilingual album CALL ME CRAZY in 2012. In 2017, she released the francophone EP LA PROMESSE for which she received a Canadian Folk Music Award nomination in the French Songwriter of the Year category. She has also been nominated five years in a row for Francophone Artist of the Year by the Country Music Association of Ontario (2019-2023).
Kristine is releasing a third solo album in 2024 and embarking on a new project with talented musician Nick James Beaton under the name Wayfairing Souls.
Beau Nectar is a bilingual collaboration between two singer-songwriters separated by kilometers of forests, mountains, and prairies. Marie-Clo (Franco-Ontarian/Algonquin), and éemi (Fransaskoise) deliver intimate and vibrant synth/pop with ecofeminist concepts that spark their fans’ empathy towards nature. The duo signed with Indica Records and released their first album Two Lips on June 2nd, 2023, and re-released it as a deluxe album on May 10th, 2024.
In the last two years, the duo has participated in a market adaptation residency with Christian Bordarier (France), presented several major showcases at Festival Crossroads in Roubaix (France), Breakout West (Calgary), etc. They participated in the Musicians in Residence program at Banff Center for the Arts, opened for Pierre Kwenders, Daniel Bélanger, and Fanny Bloom, completed two Canadian tours, won 4 Trille Or awards in 2023, appeared on CBC’s Searchlight 100, were nominated for 4 Capital Music Awards, 2 Western Canadian Music Awards, etc.
