October is Small Business Month! It’s the time of year when we celebrate the contributions your small businesses make to our economy! In Ottawa alone there are 6400 small businesses, employing 128,000 people across the 18 BIAs of the City of Ottawa. They represent $147M in property taxes paid to the City’s budget that helps improve the city we all live and work in. In Vanier alone our almost 400 businesses contribute to beautification, events, safety and security, and so much more!
This month is all about celebrating you. Your passion, hard work, dedication. It’s about recognizing the sacrifices you make and the vital role you play in our economy.
We hope you can join us and your fellow business owners for a networking breakfast at Coworkly on October 29th from 8am to 9:30am, including fellow business owners partaking in a panel discussion.
