WHAT IS BEECHFEST
BeechFest is our annual street party! From St-Charles to Marier, the street is activated with live music & shows, arts & crafts, food & drink, and so much more! It is a chance to celebrate the wonderful businesses all along Beechwood and get together as a community.
WHEN & WHERE IS THE EVENT?
BeechFest is taking place on Saturday September 7 from 3-9pm. It runs all along Beechwood from St-Charles to Marier.
THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
- Beechwood Ave will be closed from 1pm-11pm. The detour for getting around by vehicle is Marier -> Barette -> St. Charles.
- Due to the road closure, there will be a bike detour. Bokes are welcome on-site but must be walked.Â
- There will be public restrooms on site between Subway and the licensed area.
- Food and drinks will be available for purchased in the licensed area!

The BeechFest stage will be a the St. Charles Market at the corner of St. Charles Street and Beechwood Ave.

WHAT IS SUMMERSUN?
SummerSUN is the Vanier BIA’s annual tribute to summer and shopping local. Tons of our stores join in and give out samples and extras as a thank you for shopping local. It’s held in 2 locations on the same weekend – Saturday on Beechwood and Sunday on McArthur.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
When you shop in our local stores on these days you’ll get tons of little treats. From sampling on the street, gifts with purchase, special discounts and free lemonades or coffees, our merchants find tons of ways to say thank you for supporting your local businesses. Follow our socials @ZACVanierBIA to find out all the specials that will be offered.
We’ll also host all our elected officials: MP Mona Fortier, MPP Lucille Collard, Councillor Stephanie Plante and Councillor Rawlson King will be there to chat with you about your community and if you come early enough, you’ll also get a free basket of local strawberries!
FAMILY FUN AND PRIZES?!
Absolutely! We’ll have live music, buskers, face painting, and prizes! And it’s all free! Grab a snack and come picnic in the park with us! We’ve also invited our friend from Neuron Scooters who will be offering some great discounts.
