Ottawa’s newest party machine, The Wind Up serves up carefully curated musical nostalgia that gets the crowd moving. Led by local favourite Jeff deValk, this high-energy band brings the perfect mix of throwback vibes and feel-good fun.

What is BeechFest?
BeechFest is our annual street party! From St-Charles to Marier, the street is activated with live music & shows, arts & crafts, food & drink, and so much more! It is a chance to celebrate the wonderful businesses all along Beechwood and get together as a community.
When and Where is the event?
BeechFest is taking place on Saturday September 6 from 3-9pm. It runs all along Beechwood from St-Charles to Marier.
Will Beechwood Avenue be open to traffic during BeechFest?
No — Beechwood Ave will be closed to vehicles from 1:00PM to 11:00PM between St-Charles and Marier. Please plan ahead!
How do I get around the road closure?
Drivers can detour via Marier → Barette → St-Charles to navigate around the closed section.
Can I bring my bike?
Absolutely! Bikes are welcome on site, but they must be walked through the event zone. A cycling detour will also be in place for those just passing through.
Are there public restrooms at BeechFest?
Yes! You’ll find public washrooms located between Subway and the licensed area on Beechwood.
Will there be food and drinks?
Definitely. A variety of local food and drink vendors will be serving up tasty options in the licensed area. Come hungry!
