Beechfest
Vanier’s biggest block party is coming back. On Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 3:00 to 9:00 PM, Beechwood Avenue closes to traffic and opens up to the whole community for a day of live music, street eats, local art, and family fun.
BeechFest is more than an event — it’s a celebration of everything that makes our neighbourhood buzz. Last year brought thousands of neighbours to the street for an unforgettable day, and this year we’re making it even bigger. From the Akoustik Stage at St. Charles to food and drink from Beechwood’s best, interactive activations, and free family fun around every corner, there’s something for everyone.
New this year: we’re extending the festivities by one more block. The closure will run from Marier to Loyer Avenue, with St. Charles from Beechwood to Barrette included as well. Access to businesses is maintained from the side streets on Champlain, Chapleau, and Commanda — so plan ahead, and come hungry.
