Municipal Election Day
October 26
Today is the day. Ottawa’s municipal election decides who sits in the mayor’s chair and around the Council table for the next four years — and every one of those decisions shapes life on your mainstreet.
Polls are open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Bring one piece of ID with your name and current address (see ottawa.ca/vote for the full list of accepted ID).

A reminder on our role
As a local board of Council, the Vanier BIA is non-partisan. We don’t endorse or oppose candidates. Our job is to help you ask better questions, connect you with credible resources, and make sure our mainstreet’s voice is at the table — regardless of who wins.
Your vote is your voice on your mainstreet’s future. Make it count.
