The CravingS

“At CravingS, we have a motto, that food will make sense.” Chidima, a manager at The CravingS. Opened in March 2026, this restaurant brings authentic Nigerian cuisine to the area. “We wanted to introduce a sweet flavoured African cuisine and also create a welcoming space where everyone can enjoy themselves and spend time together.” Their move to Vanier is something that supports that wish. 

“I love Vanier’s diversity, bringing different communities and cultures together and celebrating them. This is a place where you come hungry and then you leave happy.” Their menu reflects that diversity; in addition to the core Nigerian dishes, their food is influenced by Canadian, Southern and Mediterranean cuisine, with everything from BBQ chicken and fried plantain to irresistible chocolate-glazed puff pastries.  

“My favourite part about my job is making people happy through good food,” Chidimma says.
