BeechFest is Tomorrow! Here’s Everything You Need to Know

Community Events

The wait is over — BeechFest returns to Beechwood Avenue tomorrow, Saturday, September 12, from 3:00 to 9:00 PM. Vanier’s biggest block party takes over the street from Marier to Loyer with live music, street eats, local art, and family fun. Here’s everything you need to know before you head down.

The Lineup — Akoustik Stage @ St. Charles

The stage at St. Charles Square runs all afternoon into the night:

  • 4:00 PM — Patenteuses
  • 5:00 PM — Monkey Rock Music
  • 6:00 PM — Drag Family Dance Party
  • 7:00 PM — Sam Stone Band
  • 8:00 PM — DJ ALAMUSIC

Eat & Drink

Come hungry — Beechwood’s best will be serving up street eats all day: Red Door Provisions, Jacobsons, Jr. and the Kid BBQ, Linden Pizza, Muckleston & Brockwell, Edinburger, Schoolhouse Pizza, and Danté — plus an Elected Officials Corn Roast on site.

Along the Street

More than a dozen Beechwood shops, studios and community partners are joining the fun with activations and offers all day — free classes and demos, pet photo booths, open houses and more. Keep an eye out as you stroll from block to block.

Street Performances & Family Fun

Roving all afternoon: henna by Designs by Mumtaz, balloon creations from Brad the Balloon Guy, face painting with Maki-Maki, acrobatics from Joey Albert Circus, and larger-than-life characters from LaboKracBoom.

Getting There & Road Closure

Beechwood Avenue will be closed to traffic from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM, from Marier to Loyer (plus St. Charles from Beechwood to Barrette). Drivers can detour via Putman Avenue (north) or Barrette Street (south), and local access to homes and businesses is maintained from Champlain, Chapleau and Commanda. View the closure map →

A few more need-to-knows:

  • Bikes are welcome but must be walked through the event zone — a cycling detour will be in place.
  • Public washrooms are located near the licensed area on Beechwood.
  • Come by foot or bike if you can, and plan ahead for parking.
